Frequently Asked Questions

unlimited data, is there a catch?

No!  All of our service plans are data-cap free.  While we monitor data-usage, this is only to show you how much money you are saving with us compared to a data-capped service.

No caps, means no overage fees and no throttled speeds.

When we say unlimited, we mean it.

What are the actual speeds?

We are committed to delivering the speeds you pay for!

We only advertise speeds on a “Up-To” basis, as some factors beyond our control may temporarily slow your speeds.  Should this happen, rest assured it shouldn’t last long.

Is a Static-IP included?

No.  Due to IPv4 address exhaustion, we are unable to offer everyone a publicly routable IPv4 address.

If you need one for any reason, we offer them at $10/Month for residential customers.

Does the weather affect your service?

No, absolutely not!  Unlike satellite internet or tv, our radio waves are only traveling a few miles and thus are not affected by nasty weather.

Your prices are higher than most, why?

To be honest, there is a good chance the prices you see are “introductory” in nature.  This is a marketing tactic used to rapidly attract new customers, we believe this is unethical.  With Central Valley Internet, the price you see, is the price you pay.

While our prices may be higher than the big providers, we take a different approach.  We strive to offer a high quality experience, in order to maintain this approach we cannot compete with providers who simply don’t care about you or your experience.

Are you local?

Yes!  Central Valley Internet was built by and is maintained by a 100% United States based workforce based in Los Banos, CA.
